I want to personally invite you all to attend the Irby Mandrell Memorial Shoot. We are proudto have The Irlene Mandrell Charity host this event at Seven Springs. This will be our second year at Seven Springs. We host an event each year to raise money for the Boy Scouts of America to promote shooting sports with their organization. With the success of the 09 event and the generosity of Marlin, the Irlene Mandrell Charity has donated 220 rifles to the National to be distributed by a special contest conducted by BSA. We believe that our rights will be preserved by the youth of America, and what better way than the Boy Scouts of America. We hope to make an even larger purchase in 2010 to contribute to the same cause.

The second contribution is to Wish Upon A Star. This is the foundation of our charity. The beginning was for Wish. It is a 501 (c) (3) organization that grants wishes to life threatened kids and their families. I am proud to say Irlene has contributed large sums of money that have changed people’s lives and we will continue to support this organization. The 2009 shoot donated $10,000 to Wish. The Wish Upon A Star organization has also supported the shoot at the highest level. The staff have all given unselfishly of their time and I want to thank you all.

This year we have added Annabelle’s Wish. This is an organization that changes lives of orphans. I welcome you all to get involved in this charity and help provide for these children. Help fill their wish list.

Seven Springs is one of the most spectacular sporting clay course in the world. Our mission is to introduce new shooters to the sport and preserve our rights as shooters. What better platform to launch such a mission? Bring a child to Kids Day and help us keep our rights intact and raise money for these wonderful causes.
